Guildford and Waverley Health and Care Alliance Board

  • Sets strategic direction and objectives
  • Accountable for scrutiny of the delivery of alliance objectives
  • Alliance level decision making in relation to delegated budget and ICS delegated authority

Quality and Performance Assurance Committee (Bi-monthly)

  • Chaired by Sue Sjuve
  • To ensure system-wide reporting and accountability for the delivery of the quality of care to local people
  • Assurance of NHS constitutional standards and other delegated ICP performance metris
  • Identifies and escalates local quality and perofrmance system risks to the Alliance Board.

Local A&E Delivery Board (Monthly)

  • Feeds into Quality and Peformance Assurance Committee
  • Chaired by Wendy Hale

Serious Incidents Panel (Monthly)

  • Feeds into Quality and Peformance Assurance Committee
  • Chaired by Dr Darren Watts

Workforce Committee (Bi-monthly)

  • Chaired by Mark Byrne
  • Leads on design and delivery of the Guildford and Waverley Workforce Strategy
  • Working togehter to champion staff health and wellbeing initiatives  
  • Embedding in Alliance approach to recruitment, retention and talent management
  • Ensuring Guildford and Waverley Workforce Strategy is in line with and delivering the ICS People Plan

Innovation, Transformation and Finance Committee (Bi-monthly)

  • Chaired by Dr Sian Jones and Martin Headley
  • Oversight of delivery of transformation programmes in line with Alliance priorities
  • Embeds innovation and collaboration across Alliance partners
  • Provides constructive challenge to programme team and bi-monthly report to QPA Committee
  • Embedding QI approach across the Alliance and oversight of the Alliance financial delivery plan and recovery
  • Overisght of contracting and procurement for the Alliance
  • Development and oversight of Estates plan for the Alliance
  • Responsible for recommending business cases for approval to the Alliance Board

Transformation Programmes - steering groups

  • Feeds into Innovation, Transformation and Finance Committee
  • Includes Frailty Strategy group, Innovation and Transformation Forum and others to be confirmed.
